“The building itself is very beautiful, kinda rustic style which I love so much. It’s very clean, bed is very, very comfortable. The girl at receptionist is very friendly and helpful. It doesn’t look like a backpackers, more of a lodge. The location is perfect, close to everything and in walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will definitely stay there again.”

They gave us suggestions on where to eat and what to do. The owner helped me find a good massage place as I needed one when we got to Nelson.

“Great place to stay. Varying accommodation for those on a tight budget. Great communial cooking/eating area. Really friendly bar on lower floor open 4 or 5 nights a week. Great location for Shops and bars and eateries. Right next to the cathedral. River walks, Chinese and Japanese gardens. Museums. 90 min from Abel Tasmin. Loved this place stayed for three nights.”
